It’s no secret that our employees are the most vital component to the success of Bytebrand. We’ve written about them before. What we haven’t talked about is how we hire such amazing people that help our company grow.
It’s really very simple and can be summed up in just 7 words. We only hire people with great potential. Allow me to explain.
A person with great potential is someone who is smart but not necessarily experienced. You can get experience, but you can’t get intelligence. We don’t worry (much) about deep technical skills. We spend more time on questions that test intelligence, problem solving, and their ability for growth.
These people have to be smart because we have somehow high expectations. We don’t hire people who will be satisfied with being “good enough”. We want to reach new levels of quality.
We give them everything they need to succeed. We give them cool projects for them to work on so they never get bored. We give them freedom and opportunities to use their potential and stretch their abilities. Maybe best of all, we have almost no management and bureaucracy so there’s no red tape getting in the way of their efforts.
This hiring strategy has proven itself over time. As we onboard more and more people with great potential, our entire company elevates. From the outside looking in, we start to look better and better.
Because of this, Bytebrand is in the enviable position of being in an upward spiral. The more we grow, the more we need more cool colleagues. Those employees make the company grow, and we need even more to acheive!
